El Rancho de los Gonoldrinas

One of my very favorite sites in New Mexico to learn about frontier life and see great old architecture is El Rancho de los Golondrinas just south of Santa Fe. It's a great way to spend a few hours with friends who are coming into town, who might not be the touristy shopping type. I like to go in the early morning, before the crowds get bigger.
